Description
The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as a Payroll Manager.
A Payroll Manager manages an organisation’s employment costs, oversees payroll staff, and monitors payroll processing in line with audits, legislation, governance, and compliance requirements affecting the employer–employee relationship.
Learners must demonstrate competence across knowledge, practical skills, attitudes and responsibilities embedded in the Exit Level Outcomes.
A qualified learner will be able to:
Manage accurate payment of employees within an organisation.
Oversee and manage overall payroll department objectives.
Manage compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures to mitigate governance risks.
