Description

The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as an Organisational Risk Officer.

An Organisational Risk Officer is responsible for planning, organising, directing and controlling risk management activities in order to guide the organisation in achieving its objectives and sustaining its performance.

A qualified learner will be able to:

  • Obtain a risk management mandate and secure management commitment.
  • Develop a risk management framework, strategy and protocol.
  • Implement the framework, strategy and protocols for managing risk.
  • Institutionalise and facilitate the embedding of risk management across the organisation.
